This spring, discover the rich and vibrant world of art at Lipont Gallery’s eagerly awaited 2024 Spring Group Exhibition “CONNECTION”. From April 29th to May 15th, 2024, we are delighted to showcase a remarkable collection of installations and paintings by eight innovative artists based in the Greater Vancouver area. The featured artists, including Daniil Alikov, Sofiya Mukhachova, Min Ren, Jiabao Shen, Xiangmei Su, Fanny Tang, Xin Wen, and Xi Yu, express their unique insights and layered narratives through their evocative artworks.

In this exhibition, the artists capture the scenic beauty and dynamic culture of Vancouver, presenting their works in a way that invites the audience to engage in conversations about mythology, history, astrology, and science, while also sharing their personal stories. This diverse approach not only highlights their varied artistic skills but also probes the deep layers of immigrant identity and the sense of belonging. Employing a blend of “innovation meets tradition,” the exhibition utilizes a spectrum of artistic methods from traditional painting to innovative 3D printing and collage. The themes explored include family, parenthood, and the evolution of their artistic expressions, presented with both depth and wit. This blend of thoughtful reflection and playful investigation ensures a compelling, immersive experience, showcasing the pioneering spirit of the artists and offering a profoundly engaging visit for all.
