Li Ning is an artist and cultural leader dedicated to fostering creative dialogue between the East and the West. Before immigrating to Canada in 2003, she spent a decade as a successful entrepreneur in China, where she founded and operated a specialized dance school for four years.

In 2008, Ning expanded her influence by establishing the Canadian Centre for the Promotion of East-West Artistic and Cultural Exchange.
