"Buddha eyes" can refer to the symbolic painted eyes on Buddhist stupas (temples) that represent the all-seeing wisdom of the Buddha, or they can be interpreted in art as half-closed eyes symbolizing inner and outer vision. The stupa eyes often include a curly symbol representing the number one, which symbolizes unity and the path to enlightenment.

“佛眼”既可以指佛教佛塔（寺庙）上象征佛陀无所不知的智慧的彩绘眼睛，也可以在艺术作品中被解读为象征内外之眼的半闭双眼。佛塔上通常还会绘有卷曲的符号眼睛，代表数字“一”，象征着统一和通往觉悟的道路。
