Gaby as she likes to be called, is a unique and creative self taught artist who has explored various mediums of artistic expression. She now works primarily with acrylics, finding it much more suitable to her painting styles, expressionism and abstract. Using a painting knife or brush to apply the paint, she achieves a variety of effects from rough uneven texture to thick or thin sweeping areas of colour in passionate, vibrant and earthy tones.
For her subjects she has applied her styles with harmonizing colours, saturated reds and yellows, earthy tones and healing greens of nature. Gaby paints to emotionally connect people to feel what they see not just see what they look at.
