Spring 2026 Richmond Art Market Set for April 10–12
Lipont Gallery and Affordable Open Art Invite Local Creators to Kick Off the Spring Season
[RICHMOND, BC] – March 2, 2026 – Lipont Gallery, in collaboration with Affordable Open Art, is officially opening the vendor application process for the Spring 2026 Richmond Art Market. Moving into its second year, this vibrant community event will return to the Lipont Theatre at Lipont Place Richmond, 4211 No. 3 Road, from April 10 to April 12, 2026, offering local artists and makers a platform to showcase their work as the city embraces the spring season.
Following the success of previous market, the Spring 2026 edition expands to a three-day format, starting with a Friday opening. The market will transform 5,000 sq. ft. of multi-functional into a curated hub of “original and affordable art,” connecting over 40 independent creators with a diverse audience of collectors and gift-seekers.
The April market is a celebration of renewal. It’s an incredible opportunity for vendors to introduce new spring collections to a community that is increasingly looking to shop local and support the arts.
Seeking Local Talent: Vendor Applications Now Open
We are looking for original, high-quality works that celebrate craftsmanship and creativity. We encourage applications from emerging and established artists across the Lower Mainland in the following categories:
- Ceramics & Pottery: Functional and decorative stoneware.
- Visual Arts: Original paintings, illustrations, photography, and art prints.
- Handmade Goods: Jewelry, textiles, stationery, and woodwork.
- Seasonal Specialties: Spring-inspired décor, botanical art, and eco-friendly products.
- Stationery, Paper Goods
- Bath and body products
- Apparel and accessories
- Food and drink
- Personalized & Pet Items
- Books and zines
- Candles and incense
How to Apply: Interested vendors can submit their applications via the Official Application Form.
- Application Review: Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Submission Deadline: March 20, 2026 (Early applications are recommended as space is limited).
